The first step for all programs is submitting an ACI Application with the Program Phase I fee. Please visit our Program Fees and Documents Page to view detailed fees for each specific program.
International Home Study Only Program
Our International Home Study program provides services to prospective adoptive parents living in Illinois who are pursuing an international adoption and working with a separate placing agency (Primary Provider). Our agency is able to complete a home study for any country currently open for adoption. A home study can be conducted anywhere within the state of Illinois.
Primary Provider Services
Our Hague Accreditation allows us to act as an Adoption Service Provider (ASP) for international adoptions, from both Hague and non-Hague countries. Every international adoption (whether Hague or Non-Hague country) requires an Accredited Adoption Services Provider to serve as the Primary Provider. This program is primarily for parent initiated and independent adoptions.
Outgoing Adoption Services
Outgoing Adoption Services for Non-US residents pursuing adoption from the United States. Family Resource Center (DBA Adoption Center of Illinois) has been Hague-accredited agency since 2008. This accreditation allows us to act as an accredited Adoption Service Provider (ASP) for international adoptions: Hague adoptions non-Hague adoptions, incoming adoptions and outgoing adoptions.
