In-Person Adoptee Group
Kids ages 12-15, are invited to Adoption Center of Illinois’ adoptee group. This group meets in person at the ACI office.
This support group offers a space for kids to meet other kids their age who are adopted and to share about their experiences, thoughts and feelings through discussion and activities, including writing and art. The group is facilitated by ACI’s therapist, Claire Dixon, LCSW.
Who: Any 12-15 year old adoptee is invited (you don’t have to be connected to ACI to attend)
Cost: $150* for 4 group sessions, or $40/session. Instructions for payment will be provided upon sign-up.
*Scholarships available.
When: Wednesdays from 6-7pm. Sessions on 3/12/25, 4/9/25, 5/14/25 and 6/11/25
Sign up for 1-4 sessions. Multiple sessions highly encouraged.
