Adopting a Child

International Adoption

Recent years have brought dramatic changes to the field of international adoption. In 2008, the US became a signatory of the Hague Adoption Convention, significantly altering the international adoption process. Additionally, many of the countries that previously allowed their orphaned children to be adopted no longer participate in international adoption. What’s more, there are often rapid, kaleidoscopic changes in the field as countries close and others open.

As a Hague accredited agency for both Incoming and Outgoing adoption services, we take pride in our ability to work with interested potential adoptive families to help them navigate the process. We provide outstanding Hague home study services and adoption education and training.

The Department of State offers up-to-date information on the state of international adoption in every country and Hague Accredited placing agencies across the United States.
